The Midnight Planétarium watch was a collaboration between Van Cleef & Arpels and Christiaan van der Klaauw. The watch is made of 396 separate parts and features the six closest planets orbiting the sun in real time (Uranus and Neptune were left out because you probably won’t live long enough to see either one complete a full orbit).

Two households, both alike in dignity,
in Middle Earth, where we lay our scene
From ancient grudge break to new mutiny,
Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean.
From forth the fatal realms of these two foes
A pair of star-cross’d brothers make their life
Whose misadventure Sauron overthrows,
And with his death, end their people’s strife.
Their fearful passage, that shall death mark’d prove
And the continuance of their parents’ rage
Which but The One Ring’s end, naught could remove,
Is now, like, twelve hours’ traffic of our stage;
The which of you with patient ears attend,
What here shall miss, our toil shall strive to mend.

did you just rewrite shakespeare for lord of the rings and make it work better than the original

"That theme that’s now stuck came up in an interview, they said, ‘Are you gonna do a trilogy of Cornetto kind of based films?’ and I said, ‘Oh, yes, it’s like Krzysztof Kieślowski. This is like our Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy.’ And I said it in one interview, and then that just stuck as a joke." —Edgar Wright
